The courthouse will be opened on a limited basis for viewing. You will be able to access the building from the front steps and view the main corridor and the main courtroom. We are very excited that the courthouse will remain open for tour during the entire Christmas Tour of Homes. An official opening for the courthouse will be held at a later date. No ticket is required to view the courthouse.

There have been four York County courthouses on this site between 1786 and 2016. The current courthouse was designed by William Augustus Edwards, then completed and dedicated in 1915. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 and renovated in 2016.

Be one of the first people in the county to get a glimpse of the courthouse before it opens to the public!
